  • Primary Test Architect for AWS and Microsoft Cloud RAN solutions.
  • Partner interactions and defining test solutions based on the partner specific HW and SW in scope.
  • Facilitating all test teams to perform their feature activities.
  • Arranging HW (Partner HW for CNF deployment, Radio HW and all others needed to setup test environment) and Cloud (Partner Cloud membership, Credits, connectivity and other solutions) needs.
  • As part of AWS based Cloud RAN solution D-RAN was priority.
  • Working on the solution with GV2/3 outposts and Graviton based EC2 instances on AWS cloud.
  • Deploying vCU and vDU CNFs on AWS EKS/MSFT AON as per the deployment models and creating End-to-End test environment facilitating all test teams we their environment needs for 5G Cloud RAN solution is first priority.
  • As part of AWS Partial D-RAN, connectivity is the major task for proper End-to-End test solution in the lab and is designed as per lab limitations.
  • 5G SA L3 Call is in the scope of Cloud Platform I&V testing (with All NOKIA 5G Cloud RAN features activated).
  • Application(vCU and vDU) testing is with System Testing team.
  • PET test team takes care of Performance and Capacity testing.
  • MantaRay is used as NMS during all test levels, once the adaptations are available as per the feature planning.

Beamforming Indoor RF I&V Testing

  • Testing is carried out in Indoor Wall's and Container's OTA.
  • Heat Maps are generated using 5G NR - Keysight PathWave Vector Signal Analysis (89600 VSA).
  • DL and UL Heat Maps are verified for Beam shapes and Beam directions.
  • Beamforming calibration is checked at every stage.
  • ECPRI based 64TRX and 32TRX and 8TRX RUs are under test.
  • All Frame Structures and PRACH formats are under test.
  • SSB beams, CSI-RS for beam refinement, PMI beams and 2D DFT beamset based on SRS are under test.
  • SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO is tested.
  • All Features impacting Throughput are enabled as per golden SCF and various Throughput curves are drawn.
  • Azimuth sweep and pathloss are the major once.
  • Python framework and Jenkins used for test automation.
