DR. ANANNYA GHOSH

Dr. Anannya Ghosh is an experienced Agronomy specialist with a Ph.D. In Agriculture and over 7 years of research and field expertise in crop protection, weed management and sustainable farming practices. Since March 2021, she has been serving as Product Development Specialist for West Bengal and Odisha at FMC India Pvt. Ltd, where she leads product development, field trials and commercialization of crop protection solutions tailored to local agro-climatic conditions. She manages and collaborates with cross-functional teams, conducts market analysis and delivers technical training and outreach to farmers and stakeholders, driving product adoption and sustainable agricultural innovation. Her strong publication record, national and international recognition and active involvement in professional societies further underscore her capabilities in advancing agricultural technologies and solutions.

• Participated in University RAWE programme at different on farm regions of Bolpur, Birbhum for 6 months, 2013-2014
• Conducted research programme on 'Estimation of yield loss due to different pests (weeds, insects and diseases) attack in Rapeseed (Brassica campestris var yellow sarson)' during 2014-15 at Viswavidyalaya farm., 2014-2015
