Dr. Ashish Sarkar

Dr. Ashish Sarkar is an academic leader, pharmaceutical scientist, researcher, and administrator associated with the School of Pharmacy at YBN University. He serves as Dean & Principal and is also involved in quality assurance and institutional development as Director of IQAC. Having more than 18 years of experience in pharmacy education, research, and academic administration. His expertise includes pharmaceutical chemistry, herbal and natural product research, phytochemistry, drug development, and quality assurance in higher education. Dr. Sarkar has guided undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD scholars and has contributed through research publications, patents, and academic books. His research mainly focuses on medicinal plants, anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic formulations, and natural drug development. He has also participated in accreditation, inspection, and academic leadership activities connected with pharmacy education and professional organizations in India.
