• Filing up the compliance reports such as monthly compliance report, Half Yearly EC compliance report, Annual Environmental Statement, Annual Hazardous Waste returns, battery purchase and return as well as quarterly slag disposal report
• Maintain the quality of effluent of ETP and STP within the norms, given in CTO by guiding the concerned department
• Monitoring the ambient air, stack and noise of inside the plant premises to keep it under the control as per the CTO conditions
• Monitoring and inspection of the dust extraction systems as well as other air pollution control equipment to control the fugitive emissions
• Preparation of documents related to environment for ECOVADIS for getting ICDA certification
• Application of NHWTS (National Hazardous Waste Tracking System) to filing up the generation as well as movement of hazardous waste in daily basis
• Keep the record of authorized hazardous wastes and report the concerned department to keep the generation of wastes within the authorized quantity
• Suggestion of any proposals related to any development projects related to environment like gardening, installation of air quality controlling devices through Quality Improvement Proposals (QIP)
