I have the ability to work with great creativity and enthusiasm. My work involved bioprocess design (fermentation engineering), isolation and purification of protein metabolites, in vitro application and MIC determination, biochemical growth modeling, and the kinetic study of submerged fermentation. I have experience in extensive sample analysis and calibration/run of equipment like a bioreactor, FPLC, MALDI-MS, FPLC, HPLC, and FTIR spectroscopy in a laboratory. I also used to study advanced microscopic techniques, viz., confocal microscopy, SEM, AFM, and TEM, in order to evaluate ultrastructural changes. I have already published 7 peer reviewed research papers in SCI journals, 1 book and 1 book chapter (international publications), and attended several workshops and conferences at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT BHU. I am also the recipient of the “Young Scientist Award” & CSIR-SRTP mentorship award.
I am a multifaceted lecturer with six years of expertise in teaching presentations to reach students of diverse backgrounds. I am an expert in leveraging in-depth knowledge and experience in core food biotechnology to provide relevant information and first-hand lab experiences. I am also known for my personable demeanor and strong work ethic.
Developed a quantitative microbiological risk assessment (QMRA) model and microbiological standards guidelines for several Indian RTE food commodities (as per FAO/WHO CODEX).
