- I am currently working as a junior teaching faculty in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal
- I have provided anaesthesia for general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, pediatrics, renal transplant, surgical oncology, gastrointestinal suregeries, maxillofacial and craniofacial surgeries, also various non operating room procedures in anaesthesia
- I have taken part in postgraduate, undergraduate, biomedical engineering and anaesthesia technician teaching programmes
- I have undergone training in intensive care during my junior residency and also currently work as a faculty for 2-3 months a year
- I also perform ultrasound-guided nerve blocks which include brachial plexus block (interscalene, supraclavicular and axillary approach), popliteal block, adductor canal block, TAP block, erector spinae block, etc
- I have done a lot of paediatric cases which include patients with syndromes and with a difficult airway, have done an ample amount of cleft lip and cleft palate surgical corrective cases
- I have performed thoracic surgical cases which include pneumonectomy, oseophagectomy and other cardiac surgeries like CABG, valve replacement
- In obstetrics and gynaecology, I have provided anaesthesia for elective and emergency LSCS procedures, and for other gyanecological procedures such as hysterectomy and staging laparotomy
- I have conducted cases in neuroanaesthesia such as craniotomy for SDH, EDH, and other space-occupying lesions
- I have been providing anaesthesia for more than 100 cases on an average per month
- I have excellent communication skills and a doctor-patient relationship, which has been essential in counseling patients and patient relatives about their care during pre-anaesthetic evaluation and in ICU
- I am a hardworking and dedicated physician who puts the patient’s care as my priority
