• PhD - Experimental Studies on Disposal of Distillery Effluent - A Sustainable Approach, The research was conducted on the potential use of distillery spent wash as a source of algal biomass. I also studied the treatment of distillery effluent using solar evaporation, including the use of porous biomaterial to reduce pollution load and utilize the material as fuel.
• PG - Impact of Point Source Contamination on Eutrophicated Water Bodies Using Streeter Phelps Oxygen Sag - Re-aeration Model, The eutrophication status of water bodies was assessed using Carlson's Tropic state index and evaluated the oxygen sag re-aeration status of contributing point source contaminant streams using the Streeter Phelps model. Mitigation measures against eutrophication and restoration strategies were suggested.
• UG - Environmental Impact Assessment of Agricultural, Urban and Industrial Pollution in Noyyal River Basin, The study region was divided into head reach, middle reach and tail reach based on land utilization. Different sets of samples are collected from various point sources of pollution. Socio-economic aspects were studied through direct survey and samples were analyzed for the air, water and soil quality parameters that help in the interpretation of the results as; an increase in pollution load due to high discharge from the textile industries concentrated in the Tiruppur district.
