I am a seasoned Public Health Dentist with extensive experience in writing and publishing, having authored over 20 national and international articles with H-Index as 13. My expertise in public health is complemented by hands-on involvement with government health programs, including the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) and the National Programme on Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I enhanced my skills in teamwork, data collection, analysis, and reporting. As a WHO Consultant for Emergency Preparedness & Response, stationed in India's Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, I have engaged with key stakeholders, organized meetings, drafted documents, and developed technical materials. My experience spans patient safety, oral health, maternal and child care, and nutrition.
I have crafted concept notes on critical health issues, such as preventing snakebite envenoming, and have developed contingency plans/emergency preparedness & response plans for major mass gathering events like the Haj pilgrimage and the G-20 Leaders Summit etc. Fluent in multiple Indian languages and experienced across various states, I am adept at fostering cross-cultural trust and collaboration.
My leadership, techno-managerial skills, and diplomatic acumen, combined with my extensive state and national-level experience and work with WHO, position me well to deliver impactful results in national & international settings.
