  • Travelling to 10 districts of Madhya Pradesh and analyzing the diagnostic facilities of District Hospitals (DH), Civil Hospitals (CH), Community Health Centres (CHC), Primary Health Centres (PHC) and Health Sub Centres (HSC)
  • Optimizing the diagnostic facilities and identifying the barriers
  • Data entry and data analysis from the various health facilities
  • Organizing the tours and carrying out the administrative and logistic work
  • Meetings with the health officials from the particular health centres of the different districts to facilitate the research

  • The three Particular Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) included were Baiga, Bharia and Saharia
  • Taking one on one interviews, clinical data and sample collection from the tribal participants of the above mentioned PVTGs
  • Travelling and residing in tribal villages in the course of research
  • Laboratory biochemical analysis (Lipid profile) of the samples for metabolic syndrome as per the NCEP ATP III criteria
  • Data cleaning and data analysis using statistical tools like SPSS and Stata
