  • PROJECTS HANDELED IN PACKAGING:
  • POST HARVEST MOVEMENT AND PACKAGING OF FRUITS & VEGETABLES FOR APEDA - NEW DELHI
  • This study on post-harvest movement evaluated, handling operations, storage, Cold-chain system, introduction of CAP & MAP system and palletisation of Fruits and vegetables. Development of Specifications for export packages of Fruits & Vegetables. Standardisation of specification on CFB boxes for Export of fruits & Vegetables for APEDA, New Delhi.
  • UNDP JUTE PROJECT: Various types of rigid and flexible Jute based composite boards were prepared for alternative to plywood boards. Boards were prepared with different types of adhesives and nearly 150 samples tested and compared with commercial and marine plywood boards
  • COIR RIGID BOARDS PROJECT: Various types of rigid and flexible Jute based composite boards were prepared for alternative to plywood boards. Boards were prepared with different types of adhesives and nearly 150 samples tested and compared with commercial and marine plywood boards. JRP sheets were made based on the flexible polymer-based sheets and compared for seething of automobile parts in wooden boxes. filed trials conducted various industries for replacement of plywood with coir based rigid boards. Applications like Pallets, side panels and seething are carried out in many industries for use of coir composite products as part of project work. Studies were conducted various resin applications for coir board preparations.

  • CONSULTANCY VISITS / PRELIMINARY VISITS TO VARIOUS INDUSTRIES FROM YEAR 1997 TO 2005. TO EVALUATE & SOLVE THE PROBLEMS / DAMAGES OF DIFFERENT EXPORT/ BULK PACKAGING SYSTEMS IN THE INDUSTRIES.
