Dr. Naseer Uddin is by profession an oral surgeon and Public Health Management Specialist, and in addition to his services as oral surgeon, is involved in various facility & community-based health programmes especially maternal child health care and immunization from the last 16 years in Directorate of Health services Government of Jammu and Kashmir. He has completed doctorate in Public Health Management with research expertise in field of health programme implementation and evaluation. He has undergone various departmental trainings and courses in health care quality, immunization and MCH. He has been deputed as WHO-National Polio surveillance Project monitor for International Intensified Pulse polio immunization rounds (IPPI) for various years for many districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Dr Naseer is involved in monitoring and evaluation of various community-based schemes and programmes under NHM and universal health coverage initiatives to promote healthier life styles, besides coordinating, facilitating processes related to health quality management and information system. Further Dr Naseer has conducted various sensitization and refresher seminars, symposiums and programmes related to quality care, maternal child health care services.
