A Veterinarian with 14+ years of experience of working in the field of Animal Welfare/Development sector, Project Management, Advocacy, Training & Capacity building, Monitoring & Evaluation, Community Engagement & Livelihood. Passionate and enthusiastic in establishing programs and in attaining detailed projects. Professional interest in 'One Health' concept, community engaged sustainable animal welfare, integrated livelihood and rural development. Motivated to learn, grow and excel in development sector.

• Presented two case studies i.e. “Hemangiosarcoma of oral cavity in a working horse in India” and “Ocular squamous cell carcinoma in a working horse in India” in 46th European Veterinary Conference, 2013 in Amsterdam, Netherland.
• Presented a poster on “Prognosis of Tetanus in working equids: A review of 50 cases” presented during 14th World Equine Veterinary Association (WEVA), October 2015, Guadalajara, Mexico

Accomplishments

· Liaising with various stakeholders to prioritize strong Animal Health Systems as part of operationalizing “ One Health " and to support the attainment of SDG 3 ( Good Health & Wellbeing) as a part of Action for Animal Health Campaign.

· Engaged with various stakeholders to improve the standards of animal welfare in the country

· Supported and mentor the Veterinary staff in improving and validating the clinical procedures in order to ensure the quality of the services

· Developed evidence based practices of animal welfare (Responsible antibiotic use, Strategic deworming, etc.)
