My dedication to third party reproduction and genomics attracts many national and international patients, as they don’t have access to this type of ART in their geographical area.
In addition to my technical expertise, I am also skilled in communicating complex medical concepts to both medical and non-medical audiences. Whether I am presenting research findings at a medical conference or explaining treatment options to a patient, I am able to convey information in a clear and concise manner that is easy to understand. In my current position as an anesthetic consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, I am actively involved managing high risk elective, emergency and major trauma patients. I am very proactive in doing bedside teaching and research. I run monthly CICO simulation session within the Anaesthesia department and participate as an instructor at the Wet lab airway teaching at SAHMRI. I am actively involved in medical students teaching at the University of Adelaide. I am a qualified ALS 2 instructor as well. I am keen to join the interview panel for the specialist international medical graduate as it provides an opportunity to contribute to the rigorous evaluation and integration of skilled medical professionals into our health care system.
