- Independently managed a Level III NICU, including care of preterm, ELBW, VLBW, and critically ill neonates.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical ventilation (IMV, SIMV), CPAP, HFNC, and NIMV.
- Actively attended routine and high-risk deliveries, providing immediate stabilization, newborn assessment, and NRP-based resuscitation, with seamless transfer to NICU when required.
- Managed a wide spectrum of neonatal conditions including respiratory distress, sepsis, shock, metabolic disorders, HIE, PPHN, NEC, and congenital anomalies.
- Performed independently procedures: Intubation, UVC insertion, PICC line insertion, exchange transfusion, lumbar puncture, chest tube insertion, surfactant administration, peritoneal dialysis, cannulation, and management of neonates on inotropes.
- Conducted independent OPDs, managing 40 to 60 patients/day delivering outpatient care, immunization services, growth and development assessment, and management of common childhood illnesses.
- Managed PICU and general pediatric inpatients, including cases of acute asthma, seizures, septic shock, dengue, electrolyte disorders, encephalopathy and other pediatric emergencies.
- Played a key role in Emergency Pediatrics, providing stabilization and resuscitation as per NRP and PALS protocols.
- Led daily clinical rounds, supervised junior residents and interns, and coordinated multidisciplinary care with neonatology, radiology, surgery, and anesthesia teams.
- Actively participated in departmental academics, quality-improvement initiatives, and infection-control practices.
