  • Conducted research on X-linked Fabry disease, a lysosomal storage disorder, using alpha-galactosidase A-deficient Fabry rat models to investigate disease pathology. Focused on immunology in the retina to understand neuroinflammation and its impact on disease progression. Additionally, contributed to proteomic and metabolomic studies to identify potential biomarkers for Fabry disease, providing insights into its molecular mechanisms and therapeutic targets.
  • I have also published clinical research in reputed journals such as IOVS as a first author.

Ph.D.

BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad
05.2019 - 09.2024
  • Focused on nanoformulation development for cancer and ocular diseases, primarily focusing on Opthamology /oncology research. Developed and evaluated a nanoformulation of the PARP inhibitor Olaparib in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) induced C57 mice, assessing its therapeutic efficacy. Additionally, contributed to cancer research through scientific writing, authoring book chapters on pancreatic cancer and the role of siRNA as an anti-cancer therapeutic, providing insights into emerging treatment strategies.

Research Associate

Hetero Labs Pvt Ltd
03.2018 - 04.2019
  • During my tenure at Hetero Labs Pvt Ltd, I gained valuable experience in the formulation of solid dosage forms, including developing and formulating oral and semi-solid dosage forms. My responsibilities included studying the release profile of active pharmaceutical ingredients using dissolution apparatus, executing scale-up batches, and handling Product Development Reports in accordance with US-FDA specifications. This role honed my skills in developing stability-indicating methods, validating and transferring methods, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
