- I have been acclimatized to the management of Critically sick neonates and children with multi-system involvement, such as respiratory illnesses, cardiac illnesses, renal diseases, hematological conditions, metabolic disorders, rheumatological disorders, tropical illnesses, infectious diseases, endocrinological disorders, genetic disorders, neurological disorders, and neuromuscular disorders, along with hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal disorders.
- I have a good hand at bedside POCUS, in terms of intensive care management, including cardiovascular assessment, Echocardiography, Lung ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, as well as USG skull.
- I have experience in performing Peritoneal dialysis and Hemodialysis, and good expertise in bedside procedures like central lines, IJV insertion, HD catheter insertion, intubations, ICD insertions, PICC line insertions, lumbar punctures, and ventricular taps.
- I also have experience managing Preterm as well as extreme preterm neonates in the neonatal ICU, including their nutrition management, neonatal sepsis, hyperbilirubinemia, polycythemia, hypoglycemia, neonatal seizures, shock, respiratory distress syndrome, neonatal ventilation strategy, and preterm rehabilitation.
- I have a special interest in Pediatric and Neonatal intensive care and am well-equipped to manage emergency conditions like shock, ARDS, status epilepticus, pneumothorax, heart failure, tumor lysis syndrome, IEM crisis, hyperleukocytosis, dengue shock, AKI, snake bites, and raised ICP.
- I have developed good communication skills with my patients and their parents for better management and counseling regarding the illnesses, and I believe in a polite and humble approach to the interaction with them.
- In this fast paced medical environment I was able to focus on patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team and participated in case discussions to enhance diagnostic accuracy and focused treatment plans.
- Being a teaching hospital, I had the honor to teach the Interns, Fresh Residents and Budding med students to shape their future in medicine.
- Participated in Research projects, presented and published my data for continuum of medical education with a Rare case report and review of literature on Hatipoglu Syndrome, along with a Observational Comparative study between Kawasaki Disease and MISC in children.
- I also got the chance to present my work at National KD conference at AIIMS Patna.
- I also participated in a PDSA cycle study on Antibiotic Stewardship in clinical practice.
