As a Medical Officer for clinical trial network for hospital based trial s in diabetology BIRAC funded project at M S Ramaiah Medical Hospital, my responsibilities include:

• Patient Requirement: Consider the specific goals and criteria of the registry. Define inclusion and exclusion criteria, ensuring align with the registry's objectives and research questions. Collaborate with relevant healthcare professionals and ethicists to create comprehensive guidelines.
• Clinical Assessments: Conducted thorough examinations, ordered relevant diagnostic tests, evaluated data collection, and interpreted results to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Vitals monitoring : Ensure precision and consistency. Follow standardized procedures for each metric, such as heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rate. Use calibrated instruments, maintain a comfortable environment, and document the measurements accurately in a secure system. Regular training for personnel can enhance data quality.
• Analysis of registry data: Conducting an analysis of registry data involves cleaning, organizing, and applying statistical methods to extract meaningful insights. Consider demographics, trends, and outcomes. Utilize appropriate statistical tests, regression analyses, or other methods based on the nature of the data. Collaborate with statisticians or data analysts to ensure robust interpretation and reporting of findings.
• Emergency Response: Responded promptly to medical emergencies, coordinating with emergency teams, and providing immediate care to stabilize patients.
• Manage IRB/EC submission: To manage IRB/EC (Institutional Review Board/Ethics Committee) submission effectively,Prepare Documentation Compliance Check, Submission Platform, Timely Follow-Up, Ethical Considerations,Collaborate with Experts,Stay Informed.
• Record Keeping: Maintained accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical histories, diagnoses, treatments, and progress notes.
