  • Superspeciality theatres : Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, uro-surgery (including renal transplant)
  • Pediatric surgery Plastic surgery Advanced G I surgeries (including liver transplant)
  • Trauma ward : Trauma and head injury. ITU management. ATLS.
  • Pain management : Epidural Injections, Image guided pain injections, nerve and joints, denervation procedures, usg guided intramuscular stimulation.

Practical Procedures

  • General anaesthesia - ETT and IPPV and SV and LMA, fibreoptic intubation.
  • Regional anaesthesia - Epidural, CSE, caudal epidural & subarachnoid blocks.
  • Ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia: Upper extremities: More than 100 Supraclavicular blocks. Around 50 interscalene, 20 axillary blocks with the help of ultrasound during fellowship in Derby UK.
  • Lower extremities: lumbar plexus, sciatic-femoral block, saphenous,ankle blocks. Pudendal, piriformis muscle injection, plantar fascia, knee and hip. Injections tendon sheath, plantar fascia, platelet rich plasma injections
  • Abdominal: USG guided TAP Blocks, hernia blocks, rectus sheath, fascia-iliaca blocks.
  • Central neuraxial blocks : USG Scanning and assistance for anaesthesia.
  • All Image guided pain procedures, including injection of botox, PRP.
  • ITU: USG guided arterial and venous cannulations, Managing CVVH, performing tracheostomies and weaning from the ventilator. USG on ITU scanning and drainage of pleural fluids. CO monitoring: LIDCO, PICCO, LIDCO, DOPPLER. USG for visualization of heart chambers, HFO, ECMO etc.

  • Continuous teaching of usg guided regional anaesthesia and pain management via seminars, workshops and conferences.
  • Physiology teacher for DNB postgraduates and1st year allied health students in the hospital.
