As a proactive, enthusiastic, and hardworking doctor with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and striving for excellence, I am currently seeking new opportunities within the NHS as an SHO/FY2/Trust grade doctor. With a deep understanding of the inner workings of the NHS, gained through my previous experience as a Clinical Attaché in York Hospitals' Endocrinology department, I am committed to delivering safe and effective care while also working to improve services and pursue excellence.
I have always been interested in the field of Surgery and would welcome the opportunity to further develop my skills and knowledge in this challenging and rewarding specialty.
My strong belief in the importance of effective communication and collaboration has served me well throughout my career, and I possess excellent team leadership skills and a professional attitude that will be valuable in any multi-professional healthcare environment. I am proud to have worked collaboratively with colleagues to build strong relationships and deliver excellent patient care.
I share the NHS trust's values of being caring and working with compassion in partnership with patients, staff, families, carers, and community partners. I am committed to providing patient-centered care, and I am always willing to learn and adapt to the job's requirements while developing my training and skills to progress into training posts.
With my certification as an ALS (rhesus council) and BLS (AHA) provider, full GMC registration, and completion of the FY1 equivalent (1-year internship), I have extensive experience working as a frontline health worker in COVID wards and ICU during the second peak of the COVID epidemic in India. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities involved in managing patients with this disease, including the need for strict infection control measures and the importance of clear communication with patients and their families.
Additionally, my experience as a ward and emergency doctor at Altius Hospital, India, and as a medical officer for Manipal Hospital in the Internal Medicine department, has exposed me to managing a wide range of medical case presentations in the ED and on the wards. I have developed the ability to work alone, unsupervised while adhering to strict safety policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines and would not hesitate to ask for help when needed. I believe that personal development is my responsibility, and I am always looking for ways to improve my skills and knowledge.
I consider myself organized, sincere, and dependable team member, successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I am always willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals with a can-do mentality.
