  • Maintain WXS hazardous materials inventory at each of the 14 individual lockers throughout the complex. Responsible for ensuring that all codes, regulations, policies, and procedures are executed in accordance with USNA Instruction 5100.25.
  • Work with technicians to ensure that materials are being handled properly when in use and helping to work through any questions they may have about the product.
  • Submit monthly reports for materials purchased, materials disposed, and current inventory to EH&S for tracking purposes.
  • Quarterly SDS Book updates using SharePoint SDS to ensure that books have the must current version of the SDS.
  • Monitor inventory levels on materials to keep items in stock.
  • Request/receive quote quests for new materials as needed.
  • Populate and submit new purchase requests while updating PR tracking spreadsheet to monitor material lead time and all tracking information.
  • Process new material in a timely manner. Updating PR spreadsheet, labeling, and storing all new items in the appropriate lockers.
  • Process all excess equipment considered "DEMIL" and prepare it for DRMO/DLA Excess.
  • Research Haystack/Tulsa/HMIRS/SWMS to make sure all items to get DEMIL are tagged and identified correctly.
  • Generate DD1348's for all outgoing DEMIL labeling each piece correctly and coordinating it for shipment to NSWC Excess team.
  • Work with SME and RPO to find documentation for radiated materials so they can be processed accordingly.
