Business Objective: The objective of the project is to reduce the manual efforts involved in day-to-day mundane tasks. The project is to primarily assist the business managers.
• The role in the project is to develop python scripts to automate tasks like upload data files to a sharepoint location and configure it to trigger automated emails whenever the files are uploaded, script to monitor a handful of services running on a Linux system.
• The other automation tasks include automated data load to the Oracle database, data enrichment, send datasets in an email to the business and application managers.
Business Objective: The business objective is to reduce the number of service requests or incidents raised by and provide a hassle free customer experience.
• The API queries the Oracle and MySql dB databases for queries related to invoice status, sales order status, purchase order status, order hold status and reason etc. The orders data is spread across both the databases so the API in some cases will have to query both the databases to get the order status and other data.
• The chatbot is used by both the internal and external parties. The chatbot also provides a feature to raise an incident in the ServiceNow if the customer is not satisfied with the responses provided by the chatbot.
• Continuous monitoring of database using several Monitoring tools which raise an alert if there is issue somewhere in the host or database.
