  • Part of the Quality Control team, directly responsible for conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) on the AIRBUS CASA C295 aircraft in compliance with aerospace standards AS9100(D) and AS9102(C).
  • Specifically assigned to oversee the inspection and delivery of the horizontal tailplane and vertical tailplane modules.
  • Preparation of First Article Inspections using the DISCUS software to inflate the drawing through analysis of the manufacturing data pack.
  • Thorough inspection of design specifications and drawings to verify they meet project requirements and industry standards using tools like feeler gauge, bucktail gauge, vernier caliper, pin/plug gauges, micrometer, etc., and tool calibration.
  • Responsible for preparing Form 1, Form 2, and Form 3 of the AS9102(C) FAI standard in Microsoft Excel, crucial for documenting the inspection processes and ensuring that all manufactured parts meet all the design requirements.
  • Working with the design and engineering teams to resolve any differences or possible difficulties.
