As a Service Coordinator for Flanner Buchanan, I wear many different hats. Mainly, I do administrative work for our location: answering phones, fulfilling stationary orders for services, speaking with families to set arrangements, or answering any questions they may have. When needed, I help out at funeral services, set up the chapels for services/visitations, help deliver flowers to the graveside, and assist the funeral directors in any way that I can.
As a Lead Supervisor at Paws and Play, I would check in the dogs for daycare, spa, training, or their boarding stay. I would log their belongings, food, and medications to ensure they were properly fed and medicated. Training any new reservation specialists as well as conducting interviews. I would deal with any customer's issues and work to resolve those issues. I would answer phones and use the boarding program to ensure they have a spot to stay during boarding. Trips to the vet when the dogs needed updated vaccinations for boarding. I would check the dogs out at the end of the day or their stay and retrieve them and their belongings to return to their owners. As needed, I would jump into other roles in the building and help out wherever I could.
As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, I would open or close the store depending on the shift I was working. Prepare the displays for the food or tear them down and clean them daily. Clean the store at the beginning or end of the day. Handle any customer issues. Balance the cash registers and safe at the beginning or end of the day. Place the orders for products to ensure we have enough based on our inventory system. Pulling food to ensure it is thawed for the following day. I was head of the "Clean Play" after-hours deep-cleaning the facility once a week. Filling in when we were short on shifts. Training new baristas, either for our store or I also traveled to many surrounding locations to train. As well as training an entire store as it was preparing to open in a nearby city.
As a Cashier at Kroger, I would check out the customers as they came through the check-out lines. Handle cash and credit card payments. Run the self-scan system. Help out in the bakery, produce, freezer section, or gas station as needed. Retrieve carts from the parking lot. Bag groceries for customers or help them find items they are looking for. Stock the store at the beginning or end of my shift.
