  • 18 Cells has converted as Zero Defect Assembly Cell through Zero defect approach at supplier end
  • FMEA Cluster, Infrastructure creation, Process evaluation, Poka Yoke / Kaizen, Process capability improvements, QMS bench marking and improvements to meet global SQA standards, APQP & PPAP
  • Quality Management System for 30 suppliers and certified for ISO9001 subsequently upgraded to ISO/TS 16949 nearly 15 suppliers
  • Key member for CRP (Cost Reduction Project) project and reduced the cost around 2.9 crores along with team (process optimization / process change, Revise the part design & lean implementation at supplier end)
  • Site Material Quality Leader @ Quality Services : Improved AL Customer Quality Rating from 78 to 96 (now SQMI) continuously 3 years through CFT approach
  • Achieved zero PPM consecutively for the last 18 months with DICV (Daimler India) through CFT approach
  • Implement Quality Maturity Model inside the company as a new technique to create quality Mindset
  • First pass Yield Improved from 82.8 to >99.0 for 13 assembly cells
  • Lead a team to achieve “Zero Defect Quality” Task force and significantly reduced the company overall rework level from 15820 ppm to 2680 ppm
  • Spearheaded various functions of APQP Process such as Quality planning, quality system, gauge planning, incoming inspection standard, calibration and quality improvements
  • Obtained NABL accreditation for both Metrology & metallurgy with my leadership (first Company in Chennai for non commercial lab)
  • Reduced IPTV > 9 through strong 6 Sigma approach, CFT approach
  • As a Project Quality Leader : Obtained customer approval from VOLVO, Daimler, Scania & DAF as first time approval
  • Team size ; 9 Project Quality Engineer
  • 498 supplier parts were indigenous in India with 1/5th cost from Poland with zero limited Quality issues
