- Throughout 2025-26, mainly serve as an aide in 8th grade math classes. In that position, assistance is provided to all students to further understand the work.
- In 2024-25, taught a life skills math class, assisted as a one-on-one aide for an autistic student during 2 periods, and did math remediation for both 7th and 8th grade. The students who scored below grade level on IReady mastery checks were sent to remediation to work on the skill for 2-4 days. Their progress was then assessed through a second IReady mastery check.
- During the 2023-24 school year, I served as the math interventionist for 7th and 8th grade. In this position, I brought in students who need tier 2 intervention. Through additional instruction, review and retesting, I have sought to help students better understand the material taught in class.
- The instructional aide position consists of assisting students in the classroom setting. Some of the responsibilities are providing extra support for students by answering questions, reading with them or aiding them with their writing. Students are also brought out of the classroom to offer small group support and to read tests. On occasion, work with students by providing other services such as walking them to classes, being a scribe, helping with self calming and other services required.
