• Understanding requirement, Bill of Material, Drawings, Data Sheet etc. and complying all the required technical parameters as per IS/IEC for various Power Utilities including PGCIL, NTPC etc. and State Electricity Boards including OPTCL, KPTCL, MSETCL, TSTRANSCO, APTRANSCO etc. for different projects.
• Co-ordinate with design, production and accounts team for getting exact material requirements.
• Co-ordinate with stores team for getting data of available stocks.
• Performing necessary documentation and communication with Vendors during product enquiry stage.
• Sending enquiries to vendor/suppliers based on monthly requirement.
• Sending Purchase order to supplier as per the quotation & agreed commercial terms and submitting order acknowledgement with deviation points if any.
• Co-ordinate with accounts teams for making advance payments to suppliers as per commercial terms.
• Good follow-up with suppliers/vendors ensuring on time delivery of ordered products & materials.
• Arranging transportation facility to suppliers if they needed for sending materials.
• Keep tracking on materials until it reaches to our end.
