1. Leadership and Team Management:

  • Providing effective leadership to the HR team, training and guiding them to achieve their assigned objectives, enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Delegating tasks, considering each team member's skills and workload capacity.
  • Conducting regular team meetings to communicate priorities, share updates, and foster collaboration among team members.
  • Handling personnel matters within the team, including performance evaluations, leave approvals and disciplinary actions, if necessary.

2. HR Operations Management:

  • Oversee HR operations such as onboarding, induction of new joiners, employee relations, performance management, till separation and ensuring smooth running of daily tasks
  • Working on HRIS in case of employee queries related to attendance irregularities, OD applications and leaves
  • Maintaining employee records and CTC database
  • Timely process the FnF of ex-employees as per HR policy. Coordinate with the Accounts team for further processing and releasing of the FnF amount and closing the employee files.
  • Supporting the HR Head every month in preparing salary input sheet by verifying attendance, KRA scores, additional allowances, salary corrections, deductions etc.
  • Brainstorming ideas to improve the HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

3. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Managing the recruitment process, from maintaining records of the open positions, ongoing attrition and working on filling the positions against the attrition to maintain the resource count. Also, taking the responsibility of closing niche profiles, as and when required
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs
  • Helping the team with their assigned open positions, especially when they come across any challenges in closing the positions

4. Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution for grievances, conflicts and other concerns.
  • Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement through effective communication and recognition programs

5. Performance Management:

  • Monitor team performance, identifying areas of strength, and improvement scope for development via one on one monthly KRA meetings
  • Oversee the performance management process, including initiation of the appraisal process by reviewing the appraisal forms, preparing appraisal letters and promotion announcements
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues and implementing performance improvement plans (PIP), when necessary.

6. Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance as per standards set by the internal auditing team and company policies
  • Stay up to date with changes in the HR policies
  • Conduct quarterly audits and assessments to ensure HR protocols are being followed

7. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads, managers, and employees, to understand their needs and priorities.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, and initiatives effectively, addressing questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects and initiatives such as IJP's, Fast Tracks etc; leveraging HR expertise to support organizational goals.
