–Consultant-led mixed medical-surgical ICU managing adults with respiratory failure, major trauma, poisoning, post-surgical complications, and haemodynamic instability; leads daily MDT ward rounds alongside senior consultants
–Delivers multi-organ support: ventilatory, cardiovascular, and renal, across the full spectrum of ICU dependency
–Proficient in RSI, videolaryngoscopy, difficult airway management, ultrasound-guided CVC and arterial line insertion; uses POCUS and focused echocardiography for haemodynamic assessment and procedural guidance
–Multidisciplinary rotations in radiology, bronchoscopy, cardiology, and nephrology with hands-on experience in POCUS, echocardiography, and dialysis, relevant to critical care.
–Rapid Response Team — primary responder to deteriorating patients across the hospital
–Family communication: treatment escalation, goals of care, and end-of-life discussions
–Anaesthesia for 1,500+ cases across general surgery, neuro-, paediatric, and obstetric specialties, including 1,000+ laparoscopic procedures
–Advanced airway techniques: videolaryngoscopy, fibreoptic intubation, difficult airway management
–Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, neuraxial blocks, and epidural catheterisation
–Primarily managed surgical ICU patients, including post-operative care and acute surgical emergencies.
–Regular bedside teaching sessions for junior doctors and medical students
