  • Main responsibilities include FE modeling of full vehicle components comprising BIW, Trims(Interior and Exterior), and Engine room using Hypermesh and Ansa (LS-DYNA)
  • Get CAD components and guidelines from the project lead
  • Highlight the queries found in CAD and clarify them with the project lead
  • Extraction of Mid surface for mid components & necessary geometry cleanup was done
  • Modeling of components with shell, tetra, and hexa mesh and maintaining the mesh flow and criteria as per the requirement
  • After project completion, components will be checked for free edges, Duplicate elements, Connectivity, shell normal, Temporary nodes, Intersections, and Penetrations and cleared them
  • The components will be organized according to their respective thickness
  • Creation of Nodal Rigid Body connections and FE Joints like Cylindrical, Spherical, Revolute, Material Properties and Boundary Condition Assigning
  • Performing the final model checks and filling the cross-check list
