Work History

PhD Candidate

UPO-CAAD, University of Eastern Piedmont
11.2019 - 07.2023
  • Research was a non-interventional observational study to figure out the impact of circulating senescent T-cells, as a predictive factor of response in operable breast cancer (BC) patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy
  • Moreover, we evaluated the presence of peripheral blood myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC) subpopulations, blood based immune-inflammatory biomarkers and plasma metabolomics to identify cancer-associated changes in BC patients, in terms of patient's pathologic complete response
  • Technique used: Flow Cytometry, DDPCR, RTPCR, organoid cell culture, Confocal microscopy, Density gradient centrifugation, cell sorting using magnetic beads and GCxGC/TOFMS.

Guest PhD Candidate

ERIBA, University of Groningen
01.2021 - 03.2022
  • Research was mainly focused to characterize the senescence induction and phenotype of SASP depending upon the treatment regimens (CDK4/6i) in non-malignant cells
  • Technique used: Cell and tissue culture, drug administration, Co-culturing, Flow Cytometry, RTPCR, RNA seq, SA-β-gal staining, EdU staining and IncuCyte S3 Live-Cell Analysis System.

Research Fellow

UPO-CAAD
01.2019 - 10.2019
  • Study was investigated the role of CLEC4D in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
  • Technique used: Drug administration in invivo models and RT PCR

Post Graduate Researcher

University of Eastern Piedmont
09.2017 - 09.2018
  • Research was to evaluate the role of ER stress in calreticulin exposure under pro-ICD drugs treatment in melanoma cells
  • Technique used: Cell culturing, Fluorescence microscopy, western blotting and Immunofluorescence.
