Was Leading Pershing Regulatory Reporting India team. The application generates various critical reports which are used by Pershing regulatory business to perform various regulatory filings and calculations required by regulatory bodies such as Federal Reserve, SEC, FINRA, NYSE and KPMG. These data files are also used to support the parent (BNYM) regulatory obligations such as: Basel III, Liquidity Coverage ratio, TIC reporting, etc. These time bound reports are SLA driven to meet regulatory deadlines can have a regulatory, compliance and/or financial impact to the organization.

Project leader for Position and Balance Accounting Service (PBAS) captures input feeds from various billing systems and creates journal entries and in-turn feeds to the Bookkeeping system (BKPG) which is the main journal processing system for Pershing which takes journal inputs from all the other applications.

Critical project Implemented:

CITI equity compensation automation (Pershing) Citi Equity compensation automation (Citi ECS) rewards some of its employees with Stock award and Stock option program. Citi sends a standard input file via NDM with number of stock or options which are rewarded, Cost basis information, Tax information, Information of employee account which receives the reward and Citi facilitation account information from where the shares has to be moved to employee account.

Started as mainframe application developer and became team lead for the Pershing Customer Billing System which provides a uniform automated Asset-based billing process for Managed Accounts. The Management Fees component of the project provides a variety of processing methods to enable the Correspondent base to have the maximum flexibility in applying fees and allocations. This system allows IBD to set up fee schedules with different billing and distribution set up The Correspondent base is afforded sufficient time to review and approve both assets and fees to ensure completeness and accuracy. Responsibilities include enhancing the PCBS system online screen features; modifying the programs with updated business requirements like fee calculation changes, account start bill date restriction, Time and Dollar fee calculation changes etc. Resolving adhoc issues reported like printing of required notification for IBD, termination of accounts, guide to set up account details in such a way to invoke required features in application, generating reports, pulling data etc.
