GGL houses have many different applications to achieve its goals, 

GGL ZCAL (Finance IT): Jan,2022 - Dec,2023,Zurich,Switzerland 

Is the location specific application of GGL which handles the Zurich specific data and masks Customer IDs and Counterparty IDs which are CIDs (Client Identifying Data) before sending into its actual processing in CAL. Involved multiple masking & De-masking techniques, Included encryption technics before transfer. Secure transferring of files from restricted zone application to general application (CAL and MST)., 

GGL CAL (Finance IT): (Centralized Accounting Layer) is one of the most critical and important application of GGL which performs the conversion of raw front office transactional data into accounting data. CAL is upstream application of GGL which uses ETL/BI tools such as Informatica, Autosys, Oracle and PERL to perform complex coding modules. The function of CAL is to feed other application i.e financial detail database FDD with various trades like equities, Bonds, Loans & Deposits, wealth management etc which are fed from trading systems to CAL which validates the data and explodes into account level postings which are loaded to financial detail database (FDD). These postings are finally used for PnL Reporting and Balance sheet as per the regulatory requirement. CAL processing entails key function like Validations, Enrichment, Normalization, Explosion, Feed into FDD, Error Handling, DWH., 

GGL MST (Finance IT): Mousetrap application is developed to reconcile and contribute the following business requirement. Replace / enhance reporting controls and Increase transparency in the reporting. Source to Ledger comparison and reconciliation w.r.t count, individual calculation and validation Define ownership of reconciliation after adjustments are made and online editing capabilities. Improve reliability and availability of reconciliation.
