    Roles And Responsibilities

    • Plan & Ensuring QMS in plant according to defined Standards of IATF/ISO and another global standards/CSR
    • Accountable for Effective functioning of QMS ( IATF 16949) by Handling MR activities.
    • Setting Teams (QA) objectives/goals and planning resources based on production volume and future business
    • Ensuring Fast & timely response on customer, shop floor & supplier issues
    • Accountable for planning & implementing pre-launching activities as part of QPE in APQP team of new models with design & development team
    • Smooth Development of New products by ensuring APQP process & its implementation in plant.
    • Planning & Ensuring Internal Quality System Audits, Process Audits & Product Audits in accordance with IATF 16949 & assuring closure of corrective/preventive action for issue found during Internal Audit.
    • Working closely with customers to meet APQP, PPAP requirements.
    • Developed suppliers in process of coating, stamping /pressed parts, plastic & rubber products.
    • Responsible for Delegating duties and responsibilities to subordinates and planning for improvement of Skill, Gap Analysis and Job Specification, clearly defining yearly targets and goals & their timely review.
    • Ensure all incoming, in process & outgoing parts qualified as per defined standards & controls.
    • In-process rejection/ Non-Quality Expenses (NQE) reduction through analysis and Improvement Road Map by applying Improvement Projects with methodology like Statistical Tools, DMAIC (Six sigma), Quality Circle, QC story etc….
    • Tracks progress on customer line issue, Scrap trend with improvement project implementation at various sources (Supplier, Plant and Engineering) & conduct monthly meeting with top management & share the status & support required.
    • Managed and maintained all aspects of the facility accreditation to the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015, IATF 16949.
    • Wrote, reviewed, edited, and approved Internal Procedures and assured company QA manual/procedures and facility standard operating procedures will comply corporate guidelines, customer & IATF 16949 requirements.
    • Reducing official customer complaints & enhancing customer satisfaction index by analysing the problem, finding root cause (using tools like 5why, DMAIC, G8D, Ishikawa etc..) and taking countermeasures, their implementation & effectiveness check

    • Lead the cost reduction projects through New Supplier Development / Value Engineering which lead to cost savings of 12.7% during the last financial year.
    • Established Robust Supplier Developments Process and ensured the serial production of 40 suppliers
    • Reduced the line rejection Scrap from 3.58% to 0.175%
    • Improved the Process capability from Cpk: 0.9 to 1.85 in housing bending line.
    • Eliminate the Re tapping operation after welding the sensor boss solved by DOE method

    • Made 200 parts as Self Certified Parts by Improving process capability and made very good controls at Supplier place
    • Contributed towards Reduction of Supplier rejections from 10000PPM to 500 PPM level by implementing Quality Projects at Supplier place.
    • Recognized for serving as Coordinator Quality Circle Movement (started small group activities (quality circles) in different sections to reduce the rejection and reworking in different sections during assembly & reducing field complaints)
