Optum is a leading health services and innovation company focused on improving affordability, quality and efficiency of care handling the United Health Group providers. Provider Credentialing is the process of capturing training, licensing and professional details about the Provider. The vision on the on-boarding program is to enhance the digital experience and to create a detailed future state process blueprint to enable improved NPS from all the values customers. This will involve building of an intelligent provider application which will collect all information needed from a provider at initial application, Pre-fill information via integration with CAQH and Enable market/product specific business rules up front.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and development highly complex solutions that exemplify quality optimization in regards to reliability, availability, scalability, flexibility, usability/reusability and high performance using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and serverless architectures.
  
• Consulting clients regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation on AWS infrastructure.
  
• Define complex architectural strategy and direction of multiple and diverse application/data/network disciplines on a variety of multi-platform systems.
  
• Lead the creation of technical design documents and lead the communication of the architectural vision across functional areas.
  
• Participate in architecture and design reviews for projects that require complex technical solutions.
  
• Review code, lead refactoring activities, guide from a technical perspective for all SE members of a project.
• Provide effective consulting on complex projects including RFP technical evaluations for an assigned business domain.
  

Mainframe CoE 

A center of excellence (CoE, also known as a competency center or a capability center) is the group or team that leads other employees and the organization as a whole in some particular area of focus such as a technology, skill or discipline. To that end, a business CoE may provide research, support, guidance, training and oversight for other employees. The area of focus can be anything that's important enough to the business to devote the necessary resources to. A CoE may be ongoing or temporary group members may work in another capacity or be full-time in the CoE. A center of excellence is frequently used when an organization needs to take on a new technology or skill and manage its adoption.

Telstra

Telstra is a major telecom operator in Australia. Extensively worked in AWS and Mainframe with wide and in depth understanding of application. Gained experience in deploying applications on to their respective environments using Elastic Beanstalk. It has various applications for billing, plant assignment, plant availability, broadband connections etc. This project deals with NPAMS application that uses the existing functionality of FTTN. However, as a part of this project, this application will extend its functionality to check for FTTC connections.  

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Build technical led solutions and strategies for the RFP (Request For Proposal) requested by the customer.
  
• Document and understand the customer's current, future / desired state, business goals and challenges, capabilities and IT investments.
  
• Develop highly productive customer relationships and become a Trusted Advisor by providing thought leadership to help shape and grow our value to the customer.
  

• Determining preliminary solutions to identified issues and gaps.

• Assessing and evaluating project planning & management tools to recommend tools for use.

• Identifying risks across the project life-cycle and conceive mitigation strategies.
• Creating program plans spanning across multiple projects modules to drive overall program effectiveness in terms of quality, cost and time.
• Enhancing Highly visible applications on Mainframes and Java\JEE application in collaboration with various technical teams involved in the development process.

DXC Technology helps the customers across the entire enterprise technology stack with differentiated industry solutions. The projects required to modernize IT, optimize data architectures, and make everything secure, scalable and orchestrated across public, private and hybrid clouds. The insurance applications build on Mainframe and Hyrbid Architectures such as WMA (Wealth Management Accelerator), VANTAGE-ONE and Repetitive Payment System (RPS) is designed to provide timely and accurate accumulation and repetitive benefit payments for various forms of annuity, fixed payment settlement options, interest only payments, and structured settlement claims. These projects involved upgrading and enhancing the applications at various scales / measures based on client requirements. It also dealt with Application Migration and Data Migration from one platform / system to another system in the same line of business effectively based on the identified target platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Cognitive about designing, deploying and operating highly available, scalable and fault tolerant systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  
• SME for US Insurance Product Vantage and wmA.
  
• Worked as on site coordinator for 5 years.
• Due diligence and co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in the project.

Clients : BBVA, Ameriprise

BBVA is the second largest bank in Spain. It’s critical to understand the application’s relationship with the business. If the application isn’t isolated, prepare to put lots of effort into bridging. We worked closely with BBVA and VASS to ensure both teams were prepared with the proper human and material resources. Primary objectives of the programs were enhancing the existing applications and at the same time try to cut licensing costs of the mainframe and free up data trapped in an RDBMS database. BBVA decided to modernize two applications, both written in COBOL, ADS and Easytrieve. The target for the migration included Java and Oracle database. BBVA wanted the new system to be an exact copy of old system, as the legacy application’s business logic and user interface were satisfactory to the business.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Assist and troubleshoot current Mainframe environment. 

• Building and deployment of code in Mainframe and Java.

• Support system parameters and interact for complicated components.

• Support code applications to technical and functional programming standards.

• Evaluate codes and improvement as required to complex modules during peer reviews.

• Interact with integration infrastructure and varied systems.

• Analyze designs and execute custom application features and functions.
