Systems Engineering

- Contractual requirement analysis, System Architecture preparation and System Interface definition with other subsystems like DMS, IXL, PDC etc.
- Preparation of system design document, HMI specifications, System Verification & Validation procedure, Factory/Site Acceptance (FAT/SAT) Procedure.
- Define the control strategy based on relay wiring diagrams and electrical schematics for Traction Power, Non-Traction power, Electrical & Mechanical and Station Ventilation, Tunnel Ventilation, Air Conditioning System, Elevator, Escalator and Access control.
- Preparation of SQL based SCADA server database for Traction, Non-Traction, Civil and Signalling & Communication applications.
- RTU Database preparation using IEC 61131 programming methods (mainly ST) and IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus, OPC UA communication protocols.
- Define Network Architecture & IP Address Plan for internal and external interfaces

Management & Planning

- Leading the Subsystem project development team (5-7 members) - work package and resource Management.
- Cross functional and client communications management.
- Subsystem hardware and software BoQ preparation and coordination for procurement with Sourcing & Supply chain team.

Customer Collaboration

- Conduct workshop with clients to refine & define the technical requirements.
- Lead the Design Reviews, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Test activities with contractors & customers.
- FAT & SAT of SCADA and RTU solution with customer.

Major projects handled

- Non Traction SCADA for EDFC Main line system Trackside object condition-based maintenance system using RTU for Bhopal-Indore Metro, Delhi Line-10 and Perth HCS

- Traction and Non Traction SCADA for Toulouse L3 metro.

• Reviewing the contract documents and ensuring submission of the engineering drawings/ documents as per the contract scope.
• Coordinating with customer for entire project execution from KOM to FAT and handing over of the project by close communication with customer on the progress of the project.
• Contract handling and arranging of engineering documents like General arrangement drawings, panel/loop drawings, data sheets and sizing sheets submission to customer for approval as per agreed project documentation scope.
• Coordinating with customers and consultants for engineering documents approval.
• Formulating detailed project communication plan, project execution plans, cost control sheet/Budget, Risk registers and periodical project status reports.
• Monitoring the project cost against budgeted costs throughout the duration of the project.
• Periodic review with all stakeholders and ensuring timely completion of project within budgeted cost.
• Project management, documentation, material planning, project monitoring and controlling.
• Interacting with vendors for bought-out item offers, data sheets and technical evaluation of vendor offers.
• Panel design and testing of data acquisition and wireless instrument system panels.
• Supporting the site team for commissioning and handing over of the system.
• Monitoring of sub-contracting works and relevant site activities.
• Major projects handled: Tata chemical, TKIS, Grasim Industries, DCM Shriram and Kutch chemicals Data acquisition (Cell voltage monitoring) systems.
• IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, MRPL refineries field instrument and wireless system packages through EIL.
• Reliance J3- Jamnagar field instrument package. (Document approvals through consultants Jacobs, Aker Solutions, Technip and Bechtel).
• LINDE – RIL J3 and SRU project Singapore.
• TOYO-HRLL, L&T-HRRL and HPCL RUF field instruments package.

• Testing of elevator controllers using PLC.
• Controllers panel design.
• Technical support to Purchase department for new vendor identification and vendor development.

• Field instruments installation, commissioning and calibration.
• Field wiring, Panel wiring, Panel installation and Field troubleshooting.
• PLC programming and SCADA modifications as per process requirements.
