Description: Tenjing is a data conversion initiative focused on transforming banking data, such as customer information, transactions, and loans, into standardized Excel formats for operational, analytical, or migration purposes. The goal is to deliver accurate, cleaned, and validated banking data in pre-defined templates that meet business or compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction: Pulling data from core banking systems and databases.
• Data Transformation: Reformatting data as per the template (including field mapping, normalization, and cleansing).
• Data validation: Running checks for data quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• Documentation: Recording methodologies, conversion rules, and change logs.
• Logged and tracked issues, risks, and action items using JIRA.
• Coordinated extraction of banking data from source systems using SQL queries and standardized tools.

Project: Loan Origination System (LOS) – Easy Loan.

Description: A Loan Origination System (LOS) automates the generation of loan documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. Typically hosted on local bank servers or accessed via cloud platforms, LOS streamlines the loan application to disbursement process, enhances accuracy, and improves operational efficiency.

Modules Tested: Loan Application, Deviation Permission, Due Diligence, Appraisal, Sanction Details, Disbursement, User Management, Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developed detailed test cases and scenarios aligned with functional requirements and business workflows.
• Created user manuals and data dictionaries to support testing and end-user understanding.
• Logged, tracked, and managed defects using Bitbucket, ensuring clear communication with developers.
• Performed thorough database testing for each module to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Conducted rigorous retesting to verify defect fixes and maintain quality standards.

Project: Loan Management System (LMS) – Asset Classification.

Description: The system facilitates the classification of non-performing assets (NPAs) into sub-standard, doubtful, and loss categories, based on the duration of non-performance and the likelihood of repayment. This classification is crucial for banks to comply with regulatory requirements, and effectively manage asset quality, provisioning, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducted ETL testing to verify the accuracy and integrity of data processing across systems.
• Analyzed business requirements and prepared comprehensive Functional Specification Documents for testing clarity.
• Designed, prepared, and executed detailed test cases covering GUI, functional, regression, and system testing.
• Ensured validation and quality of the asset classification modules through meticulous manual testing.

Project: Project Tracker – From BRD to UAT.
