• Preparation of Statutory Financials and handling Statutory Audits & Internal Audit for India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Singapore based BT group entities.
• Ensuring timely and accurate month end processes as per BT Group accounting polices
• Managing external relationships with our Bank and coordinating for all foreign remittances.
• Partnering with Shared Service Team, Tax Team, Legal team, UK Group Financial Reporting team for effective financials reporting & periodic review of Balance Sheet items
• Preparation of Annual Budgets and providing monthly/quarterly outlooks for P&L, Balance Sheet & Working Capital and providing variance commentaries every month against budget/outlook.
• Implementation of Ind AS, IFRS 15 & IFRS 16 for BT India entities
• Compliance of SEZ Laws for Pan India locations and coordination with authorities including approvals for extension and expansions
• Performed monthly review of accounts receivable, contractual allowances and bad debt to determine the appropriate allowance for reserve and write off accounts.

Reporting to PFO & RTM

• Financial Reporting including month end books closure and handling statutory audit requirements for assigned circles
• Coordinating with the authorities for completion of assessment for various states(Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa & Sikkim)
• Handling of all show cause notices, liasioning with department & Consultants, preparation of replies, attending hearings, tracking refunds etc
• Preparation of Cenvet Register, Service Tax Returns & Payment of tax thereon
• Deduction & Deposition of TDS & filing of returns and handling queries from departments and vendors
• Issuance & Collection of all statutory forms viz ‘C’ Form, ‘F” Form , Waybills and maintenance of trackers for the same

Reporting to Mgr (Acct & Fin)

• Preparation of various MIS Reports, Flash Reports, MD reports & other management report
• Preparation of various Import/Export Correspondences
• Preparation of excise returns and cenvet registers & excise payment
• Preparation of Cost Records as per Cost Accounting Record Rules of various Units across all over India for successful completion of Cost Audit

• Directly Reporting to partners)
• Work done includes Finalization of Accounts, preparation of Audit Report and CARO Reports, Notes to Accounts etc
• Audit Exposure include conducting Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, VAT Audits for both public and private companies
• Preparation of Income Tax returns, Service Tax Returns, Vat Returns, FBT returns, TDS Returns
