- The Company is engaged in a long-term Operations & Maintenance Contract for India’s first Semi High-Speed project
- Management of Finance, IT, Procurement and Revenue Assurance divisions of the Company – Built a Team of > 12 people within 4 months of winning of Project
- Part of Contract Management Team consisting of CEO, CFO and HoC; monitoring KPIs to avoid contractual penalties and possibilities of Incentives
- Country Risk Manager for Risk Assessment, Mitigations and Impact analysis – Reporting to Board
- Management of SPV and Compliance to various Covenants as per the Contract
- Setting up processes including ICS for the Company and work closely with Compliance Manager for processes like BPC, Ethics checks especially related to Procurement of Goods / Services
- Financial Management including Rolling Forecast / Rebudgeting, Periodic briefing to the Board of project challenges and likely impact on overall cost / margin
- Part of evaluation Committees including for Non-Fare (Real-Estate) opportunities to maximize the Revenue
- Spearheading special issues like Insurance (assets under insurance expected to reach INR 36 Bn), ESCROW Management
- Working closely with CEO and Chairman to mitigate Cash Flow Risks – Crisis Management due to delayed start of the project; Credit lines Management
- Responsibility for adherence to Global procedures for procurement
- Development of MIS System, modification of local software to customized cost-box reports with minimum human interface; in process of evaluation of ERP systems
- Implemented Revenue Recognition Policy for the new Business as per the Accounting Standards and IFRS with no major observation from Auditors
- Working on cross-border transactions, strategies to minimize Tax Risks – advised by Big 4 Tax Consultants
