About the Product and users:

We have created a B2/B product for Global Shippers and Freight Forwarders where they can stay on top of complex and unstructured data and save more than 1.8x money by getting better data visibility and insights

My responsibilities and achievements:

• Lead procurement and transport cluster that caters to all the RFQ Management, Rates Management, Allocations Management, Transport Management etc needs of our customers
• Delivered two revenue driven products "Star Bidder" and "Rates Management" in 3 quarters from the scratch
• Carried out Competitor/Benchmark Analysis to come up with innovative ideas to deliver more value to the clients
• Collaborated with customer success and implementation team in Germany and US to deliver product training
• In collaboration with Sales team, actively gave client demos and help them understand our solutions for their usecases
• Being the first Product Manager in the organization, I had to create team and budget projections
• Managed a team size of 13-16 people and played a role of Sr. Product + Project Manager
• Hands-on experience on Figma, Jira, Azure DevOps, Product Board, Aha and other wireframing and Management tools

Key Challenges:

• Changing the user mindset from using complex excels to using a software solution
• Migrate the data in different formats to our system

About the Product and users:

We created a B2B product that has 2 million+ company profiles with a risk score and key data information that buyers or sellers across the globe use to make collaboration decision. Buyers can send RFI/RFQs to the sellers and sellers can respond on the platform.

My responsibilities and achievements:

• Revamped the UI/UX of Company Profiles using Figma that increased the usability of the overall product by 1.6 times
• Developed from scratch, a monetizable virtual conferencing product that enabled Brazilian Trade Body Organization to organize an event and invite Buyers/Sellers all on the platform
• Introduced peripheral features around the core product that increased the utility of the product
• Managed a team size of 16-18 people

Key Challenges:

• Understanding which data points hold more value to the users and showcase them in the primary view of the company profiles
• Customization of company profile view and data points for every clients

About the product and users:

We created a payroll processing software for the staffing business of TeamLease and migrated 2 Lakh+ active user base. Majority of the users of this product were blue collared workers that made use of the product to mark their attendance, apply leaves, download payslips and other documents etc

My responsibilities and achievements:

• Formed the complete Product Department along with the VP Products
• Managed team hiring by coordinating with recruitment team
• Vendor Management: Track leaves, approve bills and monitor and report team performance (Partial product development was outsourced to a team in Hyderabad)
• Prepared and shared capitalization of expenses on a monthly basis to the Founders
• Procured budget from finance team for the following FYs as the team size grew
• Wrote 200+ userstories and 180+ high fidelity designs to deliver the MVP in 17 months of starting the project

Key Challenges:

• Acquiring domain knowledge thoroughly and be a subject matter expert to be able to develop the right solution

About the product:

TDK Epcos is a capacitor manufacturing company. Capacitors are used in most of the electronic and electrical devices like computers, mobile phones, fans, motors etc

My responsibilities and achievements:

• Working in the electrical maintenance department, identifying the root cause of the breakdowns and resolve them to reduce the machine down time
• Adapting to the nature of the job of working in rotational shifts
• Identify where the breakdowns can be prevented and introduce Kaizen to eliminate them
• Closely work with the Production team to assess the Overall Equipment Efficiency to conduct Preventive Maintenance
• Implemented the most no of Kaizen (4) in a calendar year with the help of two colleagues
• Kaizen increased the output of the machines by 8%
