Job Description

• Pipe sizing, pipe routing and preparation of Bill of Material.
• Review of production and schematic drawing for piping systems and machinery and release to shop floor.
• Raising procurement request for piping items and coordination with the suppliers and procurement team for resolving technical queries.
• Yard coordinator for design activities.
• Prepare formal responses and clarifications to comments from Clients, Production and Classification Societies on the drawings, calculation reports and specifications.
• Provide assistance to maintain Company's ISO certification as related to engineering design.
• Design co-coordinator for implementation of ERP software for drawing uploading, bill of material and procurement bill of material upload.

Project Undertaken : Panamax ( 235 m, Bulk Carrier) OSV (50 m, Offshore Support Vessel)

Job Description

• Overall piping design coordinator for piping and machinery activities in design office
• Coordination with M/S Viksankvik and M/S Vedam Design for preparation of production and basic design
• Coordination with Class to finalize the material requirement and wherever required
• Prepare SOTR of various piping items Valves, strainers, online fitting, Pumps Sewage system and Oily Water separator to and technical negotiation with supplier
• Coordination for on time release of production drawing to shopfloor
• Coordination for release of material requirement to the procurement team and resolving their technical queries.

Project Undertaken : Yard Number 329 and 381/382

Job Description

• Coordinator for cargo Vessel 381 and 382 with Viksankdvik for production and detailed design
• Raising purchase request for valves, strainer, eductor for procurement and coordination with purchase team
• Preparing exhaust system piping schematic
• Coordination with suppliers for procurement activities.
