●Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and operating complex computer systems, applications, and/or distributed systems in traditional, cloud, or multi-cloud environments.
● Also responsible for analyzing first-level problems for all systems (according to the service agreements), resolving and routing as appropriate, supporting the Systems Management processes specific to their client requirements.
● These operators have fundamental technical knowledge of the supported operating systems, applied monitoring, and an understanding of the client's basic enterprise architecture.
●The role will be knowledgeable about traditional workloads and cloud-based workloads to support client needs wherever they are required by contract.

● Analyzed and reported on system logs to detect and troubleshoot potential issues before they impact operations.

• Monitor Avamar, Data Domain, tape, and other resource usage
• Add and remove Avamar backups as necessary
• Monitor backup equipment for any hardware issues that might arise
• Perform routine random restore testing (file level restores, system level restores)
• Identify new systems added to the environment that need to be added to routine backup schedule
• Verify existing client backup configurations meet appropriate standard
• Review maintenance agreements for correct coverage/licensing
• Submit, implement and close GCARS
• Perform file and directory restores
• Coordinate hardware replacements with on-site personnel and EMC
• Manage Avamar Backup and replication
• Perform Avamar shutdown and startup procedures
• Proficient in installing, configuring and administering Avamar 5.x and above
• Worked with EMC RCM team on planning and providing resources for Avamar grid upgrades
• Troubleshooting backup failures, categorizing them to make sure long and repeated failures are addressed as priority
• Performed Backup server upgrades and patching during the approved maintenance window
• Performed client migrations from one Avamar grid to another

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Network related issues
• Troubleshooting of issues related to LAN, DSL, WAN
• Worked upon Cisco & Juniper devices

• Technical support and troubleshooting for customer problems at remote location
