- Contributed to the Move OS 3 & 4 software which is currently functioning on 3 Lacs+ scooters. Developed the Profile Manager Service which handles profile-specific data and features on the scooter persisted in RoomDB and sharedPreferences.
- Worked with the backend team to develop the end-to-end flow of a document management system, which allows CRUD operations for customer documents like Driving License, Insurance etc. from the OLA Electric app.
- Improved cost and storage efficiency by 45% by performing pre-processing operations on the documents such as converting other formats like PDF to JPG, then compressing it to reduce the size, and encoded it to Base64 format before storing it in a blob storage like S3.
- Worked with the HMI Android Team to store and sync the documents on the client scooters using EMQ-X.
- Designed and developed the feature 'Concert Mode' from scratch which allows the host scooter to share multiple music files to the participating client scooters and to sync their lights(which syncs with the music playing on the scooters) using gRPC protocol for real-time communication between the host and client scooters
- Used protocols like NSD for discovery and Socket communication to share the music files from the host to the client scooters.
