The FNTS project focused on migrating legacy desktop and web applications to the cloud using Harness Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines. Approximately 150 legacy applications were successfully transitioned from on-premise environments to AWS (Dev, with UAT and Production environments planned). The initiative involved detailed analysis and preparation to ensure a seamless migration path and minimize downtime.
Key activities included analyzing each application’s registry entries, database connectivity, DLL versions, file/folder structures, and dependencies. All migration configurations and deployment workflows were created and managed within Harness using YAML files stored in Bitbucket for version control.

Deluxe provides a broad ecosystem of SaaS-based and on-premise applications offering Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) services to customers and financial institutions. Many of these applications were originally built on legacy technologies such as Internet Explorer, ActiveX (.NET), AngularJS, and Silverlight, which were approaching end-of-life and facing scalability limitations.
This initiative aimed to modernize and re-engineer those legacy systems into a scalable, secure, and standards-compliant platform using .NET Core, microservices architecture, and containerized deployments (Kubernetes), while ensuring full functional parity and adherence to the latest U.S. banking regulations.
