• Began legal career as an Intern under the guidance of Senior Advocate Surendra Nath Sarma, Founder of Sarma & Associates Law Group (SALG), gaining practical exposure to litigation practice before the Gauhati High Court and various tribunals.
• Regularly attended court proceedings and chamber work, gaining hands-on experience in the functioning of Courts and Tribunals.
• Conducted research and assisted in matters relating to Constitutional Law, Service Matters, Labour & Industrial Disputes and Civil Litigation.
• Assisted in case preparation by preparing case notes, list of dates, compilation of relevant judgments and legal briefs.
• Assisted Senior Counsel appearing as Defence Counsel for Public Sector Undertakings including Oil India Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited, along with other government sector matters.

• Assisting in matters relating to corporate disputes, Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) proceedings, civil disputes, bail matters, municipal and panchayat matters, family disputes, consumer cases, and Lokayukta proceedings.
• Drafted various legal documents, including Writ Petitions, writ Appeals, Rejoinders, Public Interest Litigations (PILs), SARFAESI Applications, Appeals, and other pleadings.
• Drafted various other legal documents for companies, including MoA, AoA, MoU, Partnership Deed, LLP, Sale Deeds, and agreements relating to corporate clients, i.e., Master Servant Agreement, Indemnity Agreement, Licensing Agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, etc.
• Appeared before the Gauhati High Court, subordinate courts and various tribunals in connection with ongoing litigation matters.
• Conducted legal research using SCC Online and Manupatra to identify relevant judgments and precedents of the Supreme Court, and various High Courts.
• Increased client satisfaction by providing timely and accurate legal research on various topics.
• Developed strong working relationships with clients, resulting in repeat business and referrals.
• Participated actively in pro bono activities, providing valuable legal assistance to underserved communities.
