I received my postgraduate (MD Biochemistry) medical training at Kempegowda institute of medical sciences Bangalore, one of the Reputed medical Institutes of India. I have joined Amara Hospital Tirupati as consultant Biochemist, in the Month of March 2019. It’s a start up and first corporate Hospital in the aforementioned location. In my capacity I have set up laboratory, I would like to mention the work that I have carried out in this due period: • Set up laboratory analysers varying from chemistry, Integrated Chemistry, cell counter analyser, urine analysis analyser, ABG analyser, coagulation and ESR, electrolytes analyser and analyser based on nephelometry method. • For the abovementioned List of analysers, I had discussion with the vendors of all the analysers across South India. In this discussion I had my points on Mode of analyser whether it is automated /semi, throughput, dry /wet chemistry, technical specification, reagent consumption, minimum amount of volume load for upgradation of analyser module, Linearity, method of assessment, Analytical reference range…etc. • Quality control material and the levels of controls, if it is trilevel or bilevel or single control. • I had discussion with Randox for EQAS and had an understanding how the program is running across and steps to be a membership lab for the same. • Prepared SOPs for the Analysers and the instrument • Prepared laboratory manual for Phlebotomy • Worked in close association with BD Vacutainers for procurement of quality vacutainers for performing Phlebotomy procedures • Arranged Demo for the same by BD vacutainers • Set Up phlebotomy work station. • Prepared LIMS (Laboratory information management system) • Set up protocols for in house laboratory quality control. • Maintenance of Registers and raising the indent for consumables. • Protocols for Biomedical waste management. • Have worked on Logistics / Tariffs/ Referral lab tests/packages. • Have developed protocols for Hematology analysers, serology tests, clinical pathology related tests, OT swab collections, • Monitored the training and installation of analysers. • Performed clinical validation of lab test results. 5 • I have good communication, organising, developing protocol and review skills. • Carried out and accomplished humungous task of Occupational health checks of 12000 employees • Humain Health- I have joined as consultant Biochemist and Incharge of Biochemistry on 23 December 2019. • As it is NABL accredited Lab – Quality was main tool for functionality in department • Daily 2 levels of internal quality controls from Biorad, inspection of Lj charts of all the parameters, machine maintenance, temperature, serum sample integrity etc..on day to day basis. • EQAS program with Biorad and CMC vellore – verification of EQAS results and take a note of outliers if any. • Interlaboratory comparison for parameters which doesn’t cover quality program with SRL and Metropolis Diagnostics. • Accepted ILC samples from Aster Hospital. • Have participated as INTERNAL AUDITOR in the Lab as a part of NABL protocol. • Weekly review meeting of Lab to know the shortcomings and overall performance of Dept. • I have commendable experience of handling complete Biochemistry dept with routine, immunochemistry and high-end tests like MATERNAL MARKERS. • As a part of job has handled query clarification from consultant physicians, patients and clients. • I Have done educative videos as a part of Humain health initiative to reach out on various health related issues. • I Have an understanding of varied analysers automated to semi -automated and worked in close association with SIEMENS Analyser. • Software like PRISCA and LIFECELL for MATERNAL Markers. • All the required documentation and SOPS concerned to Biochemistry in accordance to NABL. • I was NABL Authorised signatory of all Biochemistry Reports. • Strict TAT was followed. • Communicating to the clients in case of delay. • Scrutiny of HIL samples. • Conducting Seminars for benefit of technical staff to empower them with new updates. • Proactive for her: Joined as consultant Biochemist for Teleconsultation of Diagnostic tests pertained to women. • Curated panels for the business set up • Participated in business strategy • Done more than 1000 teleconsultation related to menstrual, hormonal wellness of women health. • Delivered webinar’s with MNCs related to hormonal health of women. 6 TEACHING EXPERIENCE I worked as a tutor in Biochemistry. During my residency in Biochemistry, I opted to work as a tutor also and conducted lectures and practical’s in Biochemistry for Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy and other Allied Health students in Bangalore. In my one-year experience at RVS institute of medical science I conducted many lectures, tutorials, small group discussions and practical classes for Medical and allied courses.
