Roles and Responsibilities:-

Requirement Gathering, Creating User Stories, Epics, Tasks, Preparing BRD, FRD, Test script/cases, Sandbox and UAT Testing, Attending scrums/ daily standups, Sprint planning, Gap Analysis, Root cause Analysis, JIRA and Confluence updates, Maintaining Risk and Raid logs/ Caveat logs.

Team Lead for Fund Accounting - Syndicated Bank Loans- Blackrock

Lead a team of six, in one of the the most critical migrations of operations world.

A reporting tool migration from one platform to another for 250 Funds in 5 tranches, which also includes a migration of the data integration tool.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

Operations:-

• Performing Quality checks on Trade capture, Trade and Cash settlement, Reconciliation for Agent and IM on stock and Cash.
• Performing rate set changes from WSO notices, Adjusting the global amount on prepayment, computing accrued interest on trade, booking fees, updating drawdown, restructures into equity from loans, booking Payment in Kind(PIKs).

Projects:-

• Assisting in BRD/ FRD preparation for any change request or enhancement request upon migration. Performing a detailed GAP analysis for failure of product not giving expected outcome and analyzing root cause of the same.
• Preparing and evidencing test scripts/ cases for Audit purposes, UAT Testing.
• Perform reconciliation on old vs new platform vs IM vs Custodian vs Agent for balance of units, cash, and amortized value during Prod Parallel Phase.- (5 way reconciliation)

Senior Reconciliation/ Inter Representative for Global institutional Accounting.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Performing Detailed gap analysis on factors contributing to NAV difference between IM and Custodian, its root cause and solution for Pension Funds
• This involves effective understanding of Equity, Debt and Derivative Market and its products.
• Factors that contribute to NAV include Market Value of Fund, Payables and Receivables, Cash, unrealized gains and losses. These have to be clearly investigated security by security wherever there is an increase in basis point from agreed threshold.
• The difference is then reported evidenced and corrected in either of the books.

Associate Level 1- Middle Office Ops( Matching and Settlements)- Sydney

Roles and Responsibilities:-

Trade Capture, Trade Matching with Broker Allegement-CRD, Trade and Cash Settlements, Units and Cash reconciliation, EOD cash balance reporting.
