• My current organization handles all the servers of websites like Jeevansathi, Ambition Box, Naukri, Shiksha, etc., as well as monitors all the physical devices that are connected in India. Some alerts are local which we resolve on our own. However, if there are some alerts which we are unable to resolve, we follow the escalation matrix wherein for example, if a website goes down, we raise a ticket for the incident and inform about the same to the Vice President of that department keeping the corresponding team in loop, describing them the issue and what could be the root cause of the issue and a possible resolution.
• We receive various Service Requests like access to a particular project or if an employee leaves the organization, we have the rights to remove the employee’s data from the server. I make sure that all the Service Requests are resolved on time so that there are no backlogs.
• There have been times when we faced massive outages in which multiple websites would go down. In such cases, I’ve initiated bridge call. Since the impact of such issues are severe, we are required to take prompt actions. Sometimes when there is a Node failure, I’ve raised cases with the Dell Support team, informing them about the issue and have been persistent with follow ups till a resolution has been provided.
