My total work experience in company of 28 years and I have done below mentioned roles and projects.
Production- Worked as a technician in Vicks VapoRub for 10months in Hyderabad and Honda Goa
Construction Project- Worked as project supervisor in construction of new P&G building for around 4 months (this includes Fire protection line supervision)
Utility- Worked in utility for 3 years where I operated and did maintenance of 500KVA Diesel Generators, Operation and maintenance of Atlas Copco make air compressors and driers, operation and maintenance of Chiller system
Production- Operation and maintenance of converting lines (which produces sanitary napkins) like Zuiko, E-lines, Low-Cost converter, Low cost Ultra etc. for 10 years
Line Leader role- Did line leader role for 6years where I lead the line operation of Eline and FGC in this role I was leading the operation teams of around 20 people, this role includes reporting of all line results, troubleshooting of process issues, leave management etc.
Plant Engineering- In this role I lead several projects as below
1. Refurbishment of packing line (Christo) where we changed several equipment in house without any external support.
2. Converted Christo from Christo-C to Christo-E (higher version)
3. Lead the Improved Bag quality (tighter bag) project on FGC lines for around 8 counts (in this project the task was to design and localize imported parts also to develop local vendor to get qualification faster so that product reaches market faster all the tasks were done successfully also I was awarded with star performer for this project)
4. Lead the Wrapping Film Optimization project in this the task was to make Funding, bill Of Material (BOM) and order all the equipment from Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) tracking of delivery of all the material, equipment construction and qualification of 4 SKU's
5. Lead the new Scent addition (Neem, Angel Love and ONM) project in this the task was to make Funding, bill Of Material (BOM) and order all the equipment from Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) tracking of delivery of all the material, equipment construction and qualification of 4 SKU's
6. Lead the 2013 Safety upgrade project on both FGC lines in this the task was to make Funding, bill Of Material (BOM) and order all the equipment from Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) tracking of delivery of all the material, self-study of the project and giving training to operation teams, equipment construction and qualification of 4 SKU's (In this project we have replaced all the safety devices related to machine guards, all major equipment safety system related to compressed air, web tracking system etc.)
7. Lead the Queen 4.2 upgrade project on both FGC lines in this the task was to make Funding, bill Of Material (BOM) and order all the equipment from Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) tracking of delivery of all the material, self-study of the project and giving training to operation teams, equipment construction and qualification of 3 SKU's (In this project we have added 2meter module to make the converting lines from 24m to 26m as there was one more raw material added to process as this was the major modification of the sanitary napkin)
8. Lead the project of 2 new packing count of 48 and 60 the task was to complete funding, designing of the parts locally for low costing and faster timelines, give inputs to tech pack team on bag designing and shipper designing, complete validation of the project and this all was completed on record time.
9. Helped GMDSO team to qualify many local raw materials projects to resolve the process issues.
10. Lead the project of designing the local conveyor with the help of vendor in one of the LCC lines in pack loop system with all the validation.
11. Lead the local designing of the inclined conveyor with shifting of 2D bar code system inside packing machine in this task was to combine inclined and 2D bar code conveyor to single conveyor, make local designing of the 2D bar code camera brackets to shift the camera inside packing machine on all 4 LCC lines. This has avoided the downtime of around 4 hrs monthly on 2 of the old LCC lines.
12. Lead with help of Utility team in developing scope and ordering of new 3000KVA transformer, all the electrical panels required, HVAC scope of new AHU and fabric duct, and new 200KVA UPS and accessories.
13 Lead with the help of civil consultant to upgrade the foundation of the new transformer and new foundation of the AVR system.
