- As a CAD Design Engineer, I was responsible for the complete design and development lifecycle of mechanical components and assemblies. This included creating 3D models and assemblies, followed by detailed 2D manufacturing drawings based on the selected manufacturing processes. I also prepared Bills of Materials (BOM) for the designs.
- After fabrication, I inspected parts for dimensional and quality compliance, assembled the components, and performed functional testing using software tools to validate the mechanism. Overall, I handled the project from concept and design through manufacturing, assembly, and testing. I worked extensively with Autodesk Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks.
