1. Show Planning & Content Development

• Develop and plan daily show segments, themes, and topics; research trending news and audience interests; book guests, experts, and entertainment personalities; coordinate scriptwriting and talking points for hosts; and plan contests, promotions, and listener interactions.

2. Live Show Execution

• Manage the live broadcast, ensuring smooth transitions/ Operate the radio console and oversee technical aspects/ Monitor timing and commercial breaks/ Provide real-time support to the host(s) with cues and notes/ Troubleshoot any live broadcast issues

3. Guest & Caller Management

• Schedule and coordinate guest appearances/ Brief guests and prepare them for the show/ Manage listener call-ins and social media interactions

4. Audio Production & Editing

• Edit pre-recorded interviews, sound bites, and promotional clips/ Ensure high-quality audio production, including sound effects and music.

5. Coordination with Other Departments

• Work with sales and marketing teams for sponsorship integrations, collaborate with social media teams to promote the show online, and coordinate with news teams for breaking stories.

6. Audience Engagement and Ratings Management.

• Monitor audience feedback, calls, and messages; implement audience engagement strategies; and suggest improvements.

7. Administrative & Logistical Tasks

• Maintain show logs and schedules/ Ensure compliance with broadcast regulations.

• Identify newsworthy stories relevant to the magazine’s audience, and write engaging and well-structured articles, features, and reports. Conduct interviews with experts, public figures, and sources.
• Identify trending and relevant topics for the magazine’s audience, and create high-quality articles, features, blogs, and opinion pieces. Proofread articles for grammar, spelling, and factual accuracy
